Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join Royal London’s Group Technology and Change function. In this role, you’ll take ownership of analysis activity across large and complex change initiatives, working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and shape effective solutions that deliver value for our customers and colleagues.
About the role
- Lead business analysis activity for large and/or complex change initiatives, ensuring outcomes are delivered to agreed timescales and quality standards.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders and delivery teams to investigate operational issues, problems and opportunities.
- Identify effective and efficient solutions through improvements in information, technology, processes or organisational change.
- Define scope, priorities, requirements and benefits with stakeholders, ensuring clear traceability throughout the change lifecycle.
- Use a range of business analysis techniques to elicit, analyse and document requirements, processes and data.
- Model current and future-state scenarios to support decision making and solution design.
- Contribute to the wider Analysis practice by sharing knowledge, ideas and experience with colleagues.
- identify analysis and wider project risks, escalating these appropriately and contributing to project RAID management.
About you
- Strong experience working as a Business Analyst on complex change initiatives, ideally within financial services or another regulated environment.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex information and translate it into clear business requirements.
- Confident using a variety of business analysis techniques, tools and standards across the full change lifecycle.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence decision-making, facilitate discussions and build trusted relationships across business and technology teams.
- Experience analysing processes, data and operating models to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ability to manage your own workload effectively while supporting colleagues and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Knowledge of business analysis specialisms, methods or frameworks, with a commitment to continuous development.
